There’s only two cars in my driveway, although since I’m at work it’s really only one right now.

2010 Corolla and 2015 Civic.

Fair enough. How you liking the Corolla? I secretly like them, or at least the ‘05 model.

The Corolla is my wife's car, but I've driven it enough to form an opinion. I think the car gets a bad rap. It's actually pretty peppy when you get on it, and no matter how much you abuse it, you can still pull down 30mpg in it. And with 74k on it, it's been dead reliable to boot. Worst repair we had to do was the front half shafts. But my wife seems to be a pothole magnet, so I'm honestly not surprised. My biggest issue with the car is it's just a little too small for me. I can't find a comfortable driving position and my leg always bangs on the console. But then again, it's not a whole lot better in my Civic either.

If only I had a driveway. Then maybe I could do basic maintenance without getting yelled at by the apartment manager. Thankfully I have access to a shop for most stuff but there are always little things I wish I could just do at home.

I want to be one of those brave souls that buys an interesting, hard to maintain vehicle. I’m just not, though. I can have fun in anything on 4 wheels, I just want them to work.

Yeah, I did a brake line bleed at my old apartment once, didn’t realize I wasn’t suppose to. Couldn’t do it at my parents either, they live in a community. Ended up calling my pastor and asking for permission to do it in their parking lot, he said yes. Then a had a very nervous 20 minute car ride to said church to finish the job.

Never again.

Actually, having something fail/break on me is starting to be the norm around here, lol.

I live very near the city so my driveway is too small and parking too precious to just leave things mulling about with no daily usability. Sometimes though I will leave my truck (1998 Ram 2500 Turbo Diesel) sitting for a week or so with building supplies in the back. Once the project is done though it (the truck) goes back to storage.

Usually have my wagon parked in the driveway.

Our driveway looks like a Hyundai dealership....I have a base model manual ‘09 Hyundai Accent hatch (on the left), bro has a burgundy base model auto ‘09 Accent sedan (top) and mom has a base model auto ‘10 Accent sedan (right).

I am missing one of my custom 3D-printed center caps on my front-right wheel :/

Sadly, don’t have the funds or a garage/space for a project car or bike yet...

I’m loving your driveway. I love having ample space in the driveway, and yours takes the cake!

Though I'm in the same boat as you, no space to work on stuff. Someone gave me a 2nd lawn mower tractor ( until mine gets fixed), and I have to keep it behind the house because of the lack of room, :/.

At the moment just a skip and some builder related items as we are having our roof replaced. Normally there is a Citroen DS4 200-thp D-Sport living there (it's brown and manual! but not diesel), the poor Abarth 500 doesn’t get to live on the drive!

Indeed, apparently it's because the Abarth is smaller so takes up less space on the road, I argue that it's more likely to have some nasty person hurt it but I'm not agreed with and hence I loose that argument! :(

Thanks! Had the 2 about 9 years now, and don’t get it out as frequently as I should.

The garage is about a 1.3 car garage. The garage is about 2 feet wider than the door, so I can back in at an angle and cut the nose over on the MR2, which gives me room to park the bike on the other side.

Haha, yeah, it’s not bad for space. My car is JUST on the edge of a French Drain (we live on a hill), and just next to mom’s is a rock wall embankment that goes up to our lawn, plus the corner of the house and the basement door.

Plenty of room for mom to back around next to my brother’s car to turn and head down though! :) I usually just back my car the whole way up.

The driveway houses the xB & ‘64 pickup. The truck is supposed to live in the garage, but it is too full of parts for the truck, snow blowers, and the motorcycle right now.

Kinja'd!!!

Kinja'd!!!

I’ll be re-doing my yard next month, including ripping out an old filled-in inground pool & associate patio, and moving several old rose bushes. This should make it so that I can get the truck under the lean-to on the side of the garage. So the lean-to will also get reinforced and a better roof put on so it can live there over the winter and leave me the garage for getting projects done.

Haha yup, I changed the brake fluid in the parking lot. It was a sketchy adventure of hurry up and be secretive so that I didn’t get yelled at. It is not a very fun way to do car maintenance. Glad I have a shop to use now, much easier with a lift and such for a lot of things anyways.

It was a sweet little wagon, but needed a lot of mechanical work & rust repair to be even usable. I’d just bought the house and needed a truck for hauling building supplies, so I bought the ‘64 truck to combine my fun vehicle & stuff-hauler into one vehicle, and sold the wagon.

They’re not dead! Well, that’s not entirely true... They all drove themselves into those spots, but the XJ is way too far apart to run now and is never going back together. The MJ is a bit further apart, but will be going back together, hopefully I’ll have the motor bolted in place this evening. The Niva, as with all Ladas, is always half broken but never broken down. It’s alive enough to DD.

But yes... All of them are parked on the grass. I don’t know if my landlords know yet. I don’t imagine they’ll be too happy about it though...
